This game was one of the best games ever made for the Genesis, not to mention one of the greatest games ever created. This game has really cool level designs and the missions are awesome to play through. Joe Musashi has a number of attacks and platforming moves up his sleeves which makes the action all the more sweeter. Rating:  - The best Shinobi game
After 'Revenge' the Shinobi games went downhill quite bit with the rather tepid Shadow Dancer. I know I'm not the only person in the world who was disappointed with the Genesis port because the arcade version (and even the Commodore 64 version) was so much better (and almost completely different).
Shinobi III goes back to the gameplay of 'Revenge' and gives us more of the same only with improved graphics (great stuff for a simple 16-bit Genesis) and different locations. A rather cool ... Read More

shinobi series started with
1. Revenge of Shinobi
2. Shinobi the Shadow Dancer
and finally
3. Shinobi III: the return of the ninja master.
I spent an enormous amount of time playing this super
challenging game. 2D games are were its at!
