My wife and I have been using a meditation program for over a year (Holosync) and these headphones are recommended by the company to use if you want to enhance the listening experience. We had good results using just earbuds and more advanced listening devices aren't necessary until you get to advanced levels of the program, but we decided we'd give them a try.
