DANGAIO was a three-part mecha-themed OAV anime series begun in 1987 that tells the tale of four young pilots with amnesia (three beautiful girls, one handsome boy) who have been found and trained by the mysterious Professor Tahsan to pilot a four-sectioned giant fighting robot called Dangaio. ...not just different, it's creative.I don't want to spoil anything, it might not float everyone's boat, but for an anime made in the 80's, it was pretty good animation.The characters are less cliche.Fairly original.
