Rating: - The Host I got this item with several other books... the store that sent it was prompt. I'm having a hard time getting into it. Will plug along and finish the book but not as well written as her "Twilight" series.

Rating: - How did this book get on my Recommendations List? I have never before reviewed a book without reading it, but I dislike vampire novels more than I can say.I don't have any idea why Amazon would recommend this for me. Please do not ever include any vampire, living dead or similar books to me.
Rating: - More than I was expecting I have to admit, I really enjoyed The Host. Going into it I wasn't quite sure what to expect but was hooked after a few chapters. Some may call her female characters weak but I see quite the opposite. I think it takes the strongest of people to be so sacrificing for the ones they love. Rating: - LOVED IT!! I listen to this on audio CD. It was lent to me and I loved it. It was my 1st audio and I had to go buy a portable CD player so I could listen at work I was so hooked. I found excuses to run to the store in the evening so I could listen and find out what happened next, I recommend this to anyone.
