Editorial Review:
Product Description: Artemis's mother has contracted a deadly disease--and the only cure lies in the brain fluid of African lemurs. Unfortunately, Artemis himself was responsible for making the lemurs extinct five years ago. Now he must enlist the aid of his fairy friends to travel back in time and save them. Not only that, but he must face his deadliest foe yet...his younger self.
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Great Book The End? I Hope Not Once again, Eoin Colfer, has blew my mind with stupendous writing and clever twists. I found this book one of my favorite all time books. I own every Artemis Fowl book, and will continue to collect them if we are lucky enough for him to write another truly good book.
Rating: - Out of This World This book is incredible. Beats every other book in the series by far. Adds a lot to the romance between Artemis and Holly while maintaining and action theme. Amazing twist in the middle of the novel that makes you think Anthony Horowitz is a genius.
Rating: - I want more! I've been reading Artemis Fowl since it first came out and it just seems like the books get better and better. My favorite used to be the Eternity Code. Then when Lost Colony (book 5) came out, that became my favorite and now this one is pretty darn good too.
Yay for Eion (pronounced Owen) Colfer!
Rating: - Decent, but not the best in the series I enjoyed book 6 though, not as much as earlier pieces in the series. Now I understand that this is targeted at youth but also believe at times it takes away from the story, which is unfortunate. I enjoy the series and I hope a future book sees a return to earlier styles and stories. Enjoyable, but not great get it in paperback, definitely ... Read More
Rating: - Best Artemis YET!!!!! As a reading and writing teacher, I like to read what the kiddos are reading. The Artemis Fowl series is one of my favorites, and this book was exciting, funny, and, to quote one of my students, "just plain awesome!".
