Editorial Review:
Product Description: The book tells the story of the Battle of Gettysburg from the points of view of four main characters: Lee and Longstreet on the Confederate side, and Buford and Chamberlain on the Union side. It retells actual events day by day and conveys the emotions felt by participants in the most famous battle of the Civil War. Michael Shaara's choice of characters enables him to describe the action and battle strategy from many levels of command and from various locations.
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Helped me read through it The book itself, The Killer Angels, was not a difficult read. In fact,it's a really good book. The cliff notes however, help you to understandsome of the millitary talk you may have skipped through. I personally likeBarron'S book notes better, but they haven't done a Killer Angels reviewyet. I suggest this book to anyone who needs to read this book (for summerreading, AP US History)... it helps you to understand and study for a testbetter.
