I thought this book would apply only for older children, but I've found several techniques that already apply and WORK with my 2 1/2 year old child.I love the way the book is organized and I love how it really gives many specific examples of how to apply the methods to different situations.

Rating: - excellent easy to read and apply book
I highly recommend this book (which was recommended to me) It points out destructive patterns of speech and interaction we have with our children (of all ages) and how to improve our parenting skills. Awareness is the first step to doing better, but not only does this book tell you what you can improve, it gives plenty of stories/anecdotes, visual examples in the form of cartoons and a QA-like section for each chapter. It's really easy to apply to real life!
