Editorial Review:
Product Description: A brilliant parody of the children's classic Goodnight Moon, built around the coming end of the worst presidency ever.
Goodnight Bush: An Unauthorized Parody is a hilarious and poignant visual requiem for the Bush administration. In it we see a childlike George W. Bush tucked safely away in the confines of his own room with all of the toys he's willfully destroyed, abused, or defaced. Complete with a quiet Dick Cheney whispering 'hush,' this bedtime story lets us finally say goodnight to the disaster that was the last eight years.
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Goodnight Bush This was funny, sad and true.I'm glad I got it when I did as I doubt these will be around much longer. The seller provided it as promised and well within the shipment window promised.
Rating: - Excellent teaching tool! My son loved this book as a baby, now 13 years later, we are reading it with a new perspective. When he was a baby, I used this book as a teaching tool, and now this parody teaches the unfortunate politics and policies of the Bush administration. The pictures are especially informative and loaded with meaning.
Rating: - GOODNIGHT BUSH & CO. Clever, funny and terrifying.Wonderful illustrations deserve long hard look to catch additional insights.
Rating: - Good night Bush is Hello hilarious! One of the funniest parodies I've seen in a long time. The detail on every page is very well done. If you are even just a little dissatisfied with the last 8 yrs, buy the book and brighten your day.
