Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Awesome book This book is very beautiful, all the projects are lovely and it is nicely written and ilustrated. It has many interesting features, as the fact that everything is separated by groups such bath stuff, bed clothes, children or kitchen stuff. It is also true that you need to be quite experienced sewer to follow the patterns but the steps are ... Read More
Rating: - Oh sew fabulous! This is a stunningly fabulous book.I LOVE it.Only got it last week so I haven't made anything but I'm really looking forward to getting started. The pictures and descriptions are great and it's a really modern book for all you crafty goddesses out there.I'll soon have my makes on my michellemadethis.blogspot :o)
Rating: - Disappointing. The patterns in this book are repetitious and as someone else pointed out involve just recovering household items (lampshades, a hammock, flip flops and several others). Spiral bound would indeed be helpful and I found it a bit confusing as a beginning sewer. Also, there's only one project for clothing despite the tag line.
Rating: - Not your grandma's sewing projects... This is a beautiful book, full of super-chic projects. It includes very simple patterns, and some that are very advanced. It will not teach a novice how to use a sewing machine, but does illustrate simple hand-stitches if you are a beginner. The pictures are lovely to look at, and the variety of ideas are sure to inspire.
Rating: - Sweet book This book is very pretty and a nice addition to a collection of sewing books. Although, there are many things I probably will not be making in this book, it is chock full of idea I may want to come back to later.
