lots of features, great picture, abit noisy if not enclosed in a cabinet. mine sits under a 13 in. lcd tv. so the motor on the player is a bit noisy.
Rating:  - If you want to play DVDs it doesn't get much better than this...
Traditional Sony Product - first class electronics, great output, outstanding packaging - all shipped fast. really fast.

This upconverting DVD player works great and was a good upgrade to my first DVD player I purchased 5+years ago. DVD player technology has come a long way. I was surprised to see how compact and slick this device was.
This player is a great compliment to my new Samsung LCD HDTV LN40A550. My entire DVD collection looks great. And at this price I can save some money for a future Blu-Ray player to get the most out of my TV. Highly encourage the purchase for anyone in the market for a DVD player along side a new HDTV, who is not ready to take the Blu-Ray plunge quite yet due to prices.

This component was a piece of cake to install. And you can stop any place in a DVD, and take up again later in the same place. Fidelity is better than the T.V. alone!
