| |  | DVD Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred |  | | | | | | | | | | Rating: - Returning to the "gym" as a new mommy I am not a gym rat.In fact, I hate having to lock myself inside a building of unfamiliarity and/or "sharing" of equipment.After having my first baby 7 months ago I have been looking for something that is short in time (do during baby nap) but intense enough that I'm "feeling" it work.This DVD hits it on the nail.Some reviewers stated it's for the more experienced and I couldn't agree LESS!I haven't been to a "gym" or work out class in over year because of complications and Jillian offers alternative positions and even admits in the workout that if we (at home) need to take a break do but not more than 5 seconds...that's just enough to catch my breath and continue with the work out.It's as if she were in my living room because as soon as I hit the point of "oh my, I'm going to die, I cannot go on!" she says somethign to the fact that if you're feeling that way that means it's working so keep it up!I love that, it feels one on one...and that was only Level one.The fact that I can use this to build myself back up to a more experienced exerciser all in one DVD instead of having to buy three is wonderful!!I highly recommend this to anyone trying to "get back into the swing of things"
Rating: - Phew! I had just started to change my eating habits with Weight Watchers and wanted to incorporate this with the cardio I get with my elliptical.It certainly helped to jump start my weight loss!This is a really tough workout at first and some results are noticeable very soon when you are consistent with it.Beware how it can affect your knees though, there is plenty of jumping in this dvd.Just remember to stretch them out and warm them up before you start a workout and keep good form.Otherwise, it works great to help you accomplish nice results!
Rating: - I love it I JUST bought this DVD last week...today was my 7th day using it.Let me tell you...this is working!I am not really looking to lose a lot of weight.I really just want to be in better shape. It's taken5 months to find the "right" routine for me.This is it! I LOVE it!I can feel myself getting stronger, I have much more stamina (after 7 days!!!), and the work out FEELS good! I love it! Tommorrow----I'm moving up to level 2 and I am EXCITED
Rating: - WOW!! what a workout! All I have to say is "wow"! I have been doing arobics for years. In the last 6 months, I've done the zumba workouts. Compared to those, this is intense! I was sketical how much could a 20 minute workout do because I usually do about an hour of zumba, but now, I am a believer. I could barely do a level 1 workout without stopping! I am impressed. I ususally feel the soreness after a new routine the next morning but I really felt the burn during the workout! Within the first 5 minutes, you feel it. I know I will get results with this one.
Rating: - Love it! Love this dvd.I really work up a sweat! I've got a pesky 10 lbs to lose and I feel like this DVD helps make the difference!
