I received the video on dancing 101 and am enjoying the lessons! In fact, we are doing this with two other couples and have decided to go onto further lessons and have already ordered a combo pkg. from Shawn.So, yes, we love the lessons and are taking full advantage of the video's. I also have three of his line dancing video's and think his instruction is just GREAT!
We will be taking more lessons on Swing first, then move on to another style after we've mastered the swing.
I will spread the word and continue to purchase more!

We previously took lessons at a Ballrom Dance Club and enjoyed it but struggled to remember the steps between classes. This DVD, however made the lessons more personal and detailed than group lessons and the ability to "rewind" and go over the step repeatedly is priceless.

Just as advertised, this DVD is an excellent intro to 8 dances for beginners.There is a good introductory section followed by very clear instructions to get you started doing each dance. The level of repetition was just right for me to pick up enough detail, and the subsequent demonstrations of what was just taught also showed additional moves that could be learned by buying other videos.There is plenty of content, so you don't feel shortchanged.

This instructional video is great!I would highly recommend it to others, and do plan to purchase more in the future.We loved Shawn's slow, repetitive teaching style.He's easy to follow and feels like he's talking directly to us as we watch.Of course the DVD rewind and pause button are great also!
