| | | Electronics Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series Cordless Phone System with Answering System Accessory Handset (KX-TGA101S) | | | | | | | | | | | Rating: - Adding To The System... ...Purchased a base unit with one satellite phone about ten months ago; this unit was purchased to add yet another phone to the system.I was super-impressed with the original system and nothing in the past ten months has changed my mind.Adding this unit was remarkably easy; the base set does most of tieing-in for you.Signal reach, sound quality, ease of operation; all make this family of Panasonic phones a good buy.As I mentioned in my assessment of the original system, I've noticed retailers dumping old 5.8 systems at give-away prices.I'd advise that you pass these by and jump right to this quality DECT 6.0 unit; you won't be disappointed.
Rating: - Flawless performance I purchased the Panasonic set of 4 DECT phones and base and then decided to add two more as this set expands up to 6. This is a great phone and probably does more than I need to use it for. +1 on the intercom system built in, speaker phone, range and clarity. All very good. Panasonic KX-TG1034S Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System with 4 Handsets
Rating: - Overall Excellent, but missing a few nice features Overall excellent.Better reception, clarity, and range than my former Uniden 5.8 Ghz phone (which was also excellent).Speakerphone in every handset is nice.Sound could be louder (although speakerphone is plenty loud); occasionally sounds a bit tinny. Would be nice to have a more built-in memory for phonebook (50 entries is actually not much compared to the memory in the typical cellphone)
Positive distinguishing factors: - large numbers make dialing easier than other models - call screening can be heard through every extension handset (via built-in speakerphone), so you an automatically hear the message on all handsets as it is being recording on the base station answering machine - message waiting indicator on each handset blinks whenever there is a message on the base station *and/or* your remote hosted voicemail (Comcast voicemail plus) - this is cool!
*Lacks* the following features: - lighted keypad - distinctive ring for people in your address book - ability to program station names (e.g. "bedroom", "kitchen")- you must remember handset locations by number (1,2,3,..6)
Rating: - Gotspeed Added this set of two phone to my other 4 phones in my home system. Really like this Panasonic system of phones. Work great. Page to the rooms on the other side of the house or to the garage. The sound is great.
Rating: - A great addition to the Panasonic DECT 6 series I bought this handset as an extension to the base set. The original base set came with the answering machine and two handsets. This extension should only be purchased as an addition to the base set and the product book is specific about this. I am very pleased with the Panasonic KX DECT 6 series and have just about replaced all phones in my house with them. I have always had interference problems with any phones placed in my computer room. I now have the base unit with answering machine right next to my computer and the phone is a gem; sound is clear and there is absolutely no interference. One of the features I like best is the ability to transfer from one phone to the other. When I entered my Address Book into the phone, I just had to push a few buttons to copy the information from the other phone. When I purchased the 3rd handset, I did the same. When I erase the phone numbers stored in Caller-ID, erases the info from all the phones.I love this phone.
