Electronics Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series Cordless Phone System with Answering System Accessory Handset (KX-TGA101S)
page 11 of  20
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great phone until it cuts off
The answering machine feature works flawlessly. However the handsets will cut off after 7 to 15 minutes even when they are fully charged. I just hung up with Panasonic Tech Support and decided to write this review.

If anyone else has the same problem with these handsets Panasonic will tell you to:
1) unplug the power supply from the base unit.
2) walk around your house and gather all the handsets. Fun.
3) Remove the batteries from all handsets, wait for one full minute and replace the batteries.
4) Plug in the power supply for the base unit and verify each handset is charging.

Now if anyone else has the same problem, you can complete this first step before you try to deal with Panasonic Tech Support on the telephone which is itself a true test of one's patience.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - New issue for phones :VoIP, or no?
I write this review more as a caution than a specific recommendation. The phone seemed a bit under-featured, and the screen was ugly, but sound quality was good. Price was excellent.

The problem was that the phone had several issues which I do not believe were really the phone's fault-I have VoIP service from ATT, like "Vonage." I believe that the dropped calls and clock problems I experienced may be from a basic incompatibility with VoIP service, and not a problem with the telephones, at all.

When you buya new phone today, if you have VoIP, be sure your new set is compatible with that technology.

Very pleased with performance, clear voice, easy to program and transfer info to other phones.Panasonic KX-TGA101S DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Handset (Silver)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent addition
We completed our phone system with this handset when we added a new room to our house.Perfect, like the rest of the system. Our system would accept just one more handset and this was it.We have been very pleased with our Panasonic DECT 6.0 system after having many cordless sets over the years. Definitely the best!Get it! (the whole system)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Panasonic expandable cordless handset
This phone works great, we have six handsets total. The only thing I don't like is the buttons don't light up like the last Panasonic I had. But it's great that if you need to let someone upstairs know the call is for them you can just beep their extension & give the call to them. Saves a lot of steps. Also the 50 number phonebook in handset is nice too. can even copy numbers to other handsets.
