These are great tights.They are thick enough to be worn alone as pants, but still work under dresses and skirts.One problem I have is that they are a much lighter color than I had expected.I ordered these thinking they would be very dark-almost black, but when they arrived they turned out to be a medium grayish blue.They're still great though.
Rating:  - Leggings are the Best
My two daughters work in these at their jobs, and I think we have ordered about 20 or 25 pairs.Light for the summer, heavy enough for the winter, good quality, plenty of colors.good price, they are hard to find now in the stores.

These leggings are great for yoga. Comfortable and functional. Great for lounging around the house during the winter months. Fantastic feel. Even a little sexy.

first off, i own a pair of mauve leggings that i bought straight from american apparel, and they were the most comfortable things i have ever owned!i got several gift cards to amazon for christmas.not knowing really what they had, i looked up american apparel and found my beloved leggings, so i ordered creme and mint.to whomever said that they would not do business with american apparel in the future, i would like to offer the news that this item isn't shipped from american apparel- it's from HIVETEES who works with amazon to bring us discounted aa stuff!!
by the way, the leggings in creme and mint that i ordered have not even shipped yet; i ordered them about a week ago, but i am not reviewing HIVETEES- it is the quality of the leggings about which i am jubilant.
Rating:  - Terrible customer service
I read excellent reviews on the product, so I decided these were the ones to get. However, when a couple weeks passed after I placed my order for 3 pairs and I still hadn't received anything, I grew a little frustrated. I also received an automatic email stating that one of the colors I had ordered was canceled and no explanation why.
I emailed the company and asked when to expect the rest of my order. They assured me that it would arrive soon. Two more weeks and no product. I fired off an email, tactfully stating how I wanted the situation rectified. I had worked retail, customer service, and tech support and was quite used to going the extra mile for customers when the unexpected happened. This was the response I received which seemed to drip with attitude. The woman did not offer assistance for items that were apparently lost in the mail, and my check card was not credited for the product which I never received.
I will not be doing business with American Apparel again.

You determining that our service is unacceptable even though we shipped this within a week is a USPS issue.We shipped this and USPS took possession.Now, we did not take a month to ship this, we shipped it within a week.
In regards to your canceled item, we could not get this in a timely fashion so canceled this as we did not want you to wait any longer and we wanted to ship the rest to you...which we did.
We cannot reorder for you as we do not have your credit card information on file and cannot ship this overnight at no charge.
