Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - juke box cd player*** bad item
We have many Christmas CD's and others. The ability to random play is great. The remoted control did not work. The Pioneer people after a few phone switches promised that a new one is in the mail.It is only one month; but it should arive any day.*** I had hoped the remote that was all that was wrong.Product control must be off.I will now have to ship it back.the syptem will not allow me to change review from 3 star to the one star I would now give it.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - one irritating problem
This changer sounds good and once you get it going on all random, works great HOWEVER it always defaults to "PO" when I turn it on and I can find nowhere in the instruction manual to get it out of that mode so I have turn it on, open the disc compartment, close it, hit random and hope it goes there. Most of the time it does otherwise I have to repeat the process until it works. It's a pain but like I said, other than that, it's nice. If anyone else has run into this and has a fix I would really appreciate your input.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Solid unit
I had a Sony 200 disc unit a few years back that dropped disks often. I read the reviews and determined that the problem still exists, so I opted for this Pioneer unit. I have had it running 3 months now and have not has any problems. Audio quality is average thru the RCA cable. Ya gotta get the optical cable for premium sound. You might consider an upgrade to play MP3's or DVD's - I saw no need for those features, considering the added cost. I highly recommend this CD unit! A great buy!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great disc changer
Read a lot of reviews in trying to decide on a CD changer. My concerns with this one was the size (was hoping for smaller) and the delays while using random play. The delays are not too bad, maybe 5 seconds with 51 discs in... not sure if the delays increase with the amount of discs but if so it could get a little frustrating. But aside from that works great and love it, size is large but all the large capacity ones are about the same size.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - reliable
I needed to replace my Sony 200 disc changer because it skipped all over the first two tracks on every cd. The Pioneer is reliable, sounds great and can play every track on every cd. I like the extra slot for individual use. Keeping track of what's in the changer requires making a list or cataloging the cd covers.
